Al een paar jaar gaat op 1 april dezelfde meme rond op social media: April fool’s day is cancelled this year ‘cause no made up prank could match the unbelievable shit going on in the world right now. De werkelijkheid zou zo absurd zijn dat deze de satire heeft ingehaald. Toch zijn satirische nieuwsplatforms zoals De Speld, ‘uw vaste prik voor betrouwbaar nieuws’, nog uiterst populair. (meer…)
